Professional Experience
- As the Practice Owner of Saint Germain Physical Therapy, I provide expert clinical care for high-level athletes and the general population while directing all foundational business operations. I established the practice's infrastructure, including PC formation, financial management, and revenue operation. My administrative oversight includes implementing HIPAA-compliant EMR systems and ensuring strict adherence to California state and federal regulatory standards.
- Provide skilled assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mechanical, neuromuscular, and motor control impairments associated with high-level sport, recreation, and non-athletes.
- Co-director for the residency program at Revolutions in Fitness through the Institute of Physical Art.
- Ensure compliance with privacy rules (HIPAA) and documentation according to Physical Therapy Board of California guidelines.
- Co-developer and lead for clinical and evidence-based mobility assessment and programming.
- Founded and developed a weekly Aquatic Therapy program for group therapy while serving as a means to improve access to care.
- Provided respite care for a sibling with Down’s Syndrome, ensuring safety and assisting with mobility, functional tasks, and medical visits.
- Technician Role: Performed requested strain/counter-strain muscle releases, instructed exercises, performed soft tissue techniques, and applied modalities.
- Scribe Role: Assisted the supervising Physical Therapist with daily documentation (WebPT) before, during, and after treatment sessions.
- Assisted in medically prescribed therapy treatments under direct supervision and provided non-clinical support including maintaining treatment areas.
